In 1998, while Mr. Lin was struggling financially, he thought back to his students and remembered how potstickers not only provided nourishment but brought his students joy eating together. With the mindset to create a better life for his family and community, he opened his first Bafang Dumpling store in Taiwan, specializing in potstickers and dumplings.
